About Omicron Gamma Gamma (OGG): A Legacy of Excellence
Chartered on March 10, 1986, by eleven visionary men, Omicron Gamma Gamma began as a small graduate chapter in Arlington, TX. Today, we stand proud as the second-largest graduate chapter in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metropolitan area. Our growth isn't just in numbers; it's in our profound impact and unwavering commitment to our community.
We don't just exist; we serve. OGG is a pillar of service, consistently delivering impactful programs that change lives:
- Omega Gents Mentoring Program: To establish a bonded relationship with young men by offering knowledge, support, and guidance.
- Feeding the Homeless: Providing essential support and compassion to those in need.
- S.T.E.M. Initiatives: Fostering innovation and critical thinking in the next generation.
- Charles Drew Blood Drives: Honoring a legacy of life-saving contributions.
- Voter Registration, Education, and Mobilization Drives: Empowering our communities through civic engagement.
Our Impact: More Than Just a Chapter
Utilizing See It Through Charities, our non-profit foundation, since 2017, OGG has proudly donated $217,400 in scholarship funds to incoming college freshmen across the Dallas Fort Worth metropolitan area. Imagine the dreams we've helped launch!
Our major fundraising efforts, from volunteering at AT&T Stadium concession stands to hosting QueSino Weekend: The Ultimate Weekend Experience, fuel not only these scholarships but also our vital Thanksgiving and Christmas giveaways, mandated programs, and local outreach.
